A local court in Egypt has ordered a teacher to pay a fine and serve a six-month suspended sentence after she cut a student's hair.

Iman Abu Bakr cut 11-year-old Mona Barbesh's hair as punishment for not wearing the hijab to school.

Fully veiled state-employed TEACHER feels it's okay to cut PRE-PUBESCENT 11-year-old Egyptian schoolgirl's hair because she doesn't feel ready to wear a hijab (yet)! Poor kids being born into fictional faiths and forced into dogmatic rituals, hope they are fortunate enough to grow up and read the objective RATIONAL evidence. I like your cute braids little girl, I hope you keep them! :-)
